Ryan is a resident of Occoquan and grew up in Fairfax,Virginia. A sports enthusiast, Ryan is a big Redskins fan and Wizards season ticket holder. He attended and graduated from W.T. Woodson High School where he played football, tennis, and was elected Mr. Woodson his senior year. After high school, Ryan attended George Mason University and founded Sunshine Contracting. His drive, integrity, and character grew Sunshine to being ranked #164 of contractors in the nation. Under his leadership, Sunshine Contracting continues to grow and leads Northern Virginia in quality products and workmanship. Meeting with potential customers every day, he takes pride in thoroughly educating them about our products and answering any questions they may have. Ryan is happily married to his wife, Kim, and recently celebrated 14 years of marriage together! In his spare time, Ryan enjoys playing golf and tennis, as well as spoiling his two dogs, Bella and Baxter.
Adriana "AJ" Mullins
A native of Fairfax, VA and fluent in Spanish, Adriana attended high school at W.T. Woodson and went on to study at Virginia Tech as a student-athlete playing on the Women’s Basketball Team. She received her undergraduate degree in Business Management, as well as a Master in Business Administration. An employee since 2011, not only is Adriana in charge of ensuring a smooth operations process for the customer, but she also oversees all of the company’s marketing efforts and campaigns. Interacting with customers every day, it is her goal to ensure that Sunshine Contracting’s customers receive the best service and experience as possible! Outside of the office, Adriana enjoys hiking, fishing, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on any and all Hokie sports!
Operations Manager (Deck/Porches/Fences)
Born and raised in Northern Virginia, Scott attended Robinson High School and was a standout football and rugby player. He went on to study at George Mason University. After college, Scott worked in the restaurant business for next 17 years. He joined the Sunshine Contracting Team in the summer of 2013 and has been an incredible asset. Scott is in charge of overseeing all Operations and Production, as well as managing the sales team. In his free time, Scott likes to spend time with his wife and two children and also serves as a volunteer at the Fair Oaks Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department.

Nate was born into a proud Navy family in which his father served 20 yrs. He started off in sunny San Diego then moved to Newport News and finished off in the New England area. When his father got out of the military he moved to a small town called Nokesville, Virginia. He graduated from Brentsville High School and went on to attend college at NOVA. During that time Nate started a career that last 14 yrs in restaurants. He is most known for his passion for sports and family. He has 3 beautiful children which are separated by around 12 months each. They take up most of his time and when they aren’t he is either watching sports or playing golf.

Vanessa was born and raised in Springfield, VA and attended Robert E. Lee High School. She went on to attend James Madison University where she obtained her undergraduate degree is Business Marketing in 2013. Joining the Sunshine team a two agos as the Marketing Coordinator, Vanessa is in charge of operating the company’s marketing efforts and campaigns. Along with a background in marketing, she also has a graphic design background under her belt. On her down time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family and also enjoys finding new activities to keep her busy.
Shelly helps out wherever needed in and out of the office to ease the load for the entire team. Some of her duties include deck/porches permit handling, direct mail marketing as well as providing support for various administrative tasks. Shelly is a long-time resident of Prince William County and is a graduate of Garfield Sr. High School. Prior to raising her three daughters, she spent nearly 10 years working as an admin. asst. with one of Northern VA’s leading commercial painting/wallcovering subcontractors where she handled key administrative tasks, office management and contracting functions. Shelly enjoys motorcycle road trips with her husband, watching Redskins football with family & friends, and spending evenings & weekends cheering for her teenage daughters on the softball field.
