Attaining certifications from the industry, as well as respective manufacturers, is extremely important. Being properly trained by each manufacturer of each product we sell is incredibly valuable. At Sunshine Contracting, we perform annual training to keep up with the installation of all our products to the manufacturer’s specifications. Why is this important? If your product is not installed to manufacturer’s specifications, then you warranty on that product from the manufacturer is essentially void! The product must be properly installed to retain its warranty.
This means that when we install the product properly and down the road you have a service or material failure, you can rest assured that your warranty will be in place and will be upheld, both by the manufacturer and by Sunshine Contracting.
Another extremely important certification is the OSHA Certification. There is a clear difference between being trained on OSHA guidelines and by just “going by” OSHA guidelines. Our installers have completed a 10 hour course which ultimately means that we are safer and more careful, which can help prevent accidents from occurring on the job site at your home. Sunshine Contracting is also an EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm. We have a specific certification number which ensures you, as the homeowner, that we have been trained on working and implementing lead-safe work practices. In addition to being OSHA trained and EPA Lead Certified, we also carry the proper insurance, including General Liability Insurance and Workman’s Compensation Insurance.
The affiliations and certifications Sunshine Contracting carries are a testament to our level of professionalism and expertise. The certifications speak to how well we relate to our customers, how efficiently we complete the work and how professional we undertake the entire process. Firms lacking in certifications may also lack in the professional approach and talent needed to complete the task.
