Sliding Windows - Sunshine Contracting - Sunshine ContractingSliding windows have a unique design and are a welcome twist to upgrading your home.  They are easy to use and are truly functional windows.  Sliding windows move horizontally from side to side and are available in 2 lite or 3 lite configurations.  In 3 lite configurations, the two ends are operable and can be ordered in equal-lite or in 1/4-1/2-1/4 configurations.  The unique feature of opening horizontally versus vertically, allows sliding windows to offer a larger opening and allowing homeowners to give their home a unique look.  The window panels move in front and in back of one another and glide on rollers for a smooth opening and closing movement that generally requires little effort.

Sliding windows can be ordered in a Swing & Clean version that makes cleaning your windows a breeze!  By simply unlocking the control latch, you can swing the sash inward and clean your windows easily.

Simonton 5050 Slider

The Simonton 5050 slider has a raised frame and balances energy efficiency with durability. This sliding window comes with an Intercept spacer, and is available for upgrade to the Supercept spacer for increased energy efficiency. The Simonton 5050 Slider also comes in a variety of glass options including double-strength, tempered, bronze and gray tints, and obscure.

All Simonton Windows come with a Double-Lifetime Limited Warranty. This warranty is transferrable once and covers vinyl, hardware, screens, and insulated glass units.

All Simonton Windows meet the Energy Star guidelines set by the EPA and US Department of Energy in order to reduce your heating and cooling bills.

Simonton 5300 Slider

The Simonton 5300 Slider is as beautiful as it is easy to use. The triple wall roller rack ensures a smooth operation and stability for the window. The rollers are self-lubricated and are guaranteed for life. The Simonton 5300 Slider comes standard with ProSolar Low-E and Argon gas and is available in white or tan with matching hardware. The Simonton 5300 Slider also comes in a variety of glass options including double-strength, tempered, bronze and gray tints, and obscure.
