With its bowed shape and panoramic view, bay & bow windows are one of the most unique window styles available. The special shape of the window combined with the extra space it creates makes it a distinctive home element. Unlike other window styles like sliding windows, awning windows or casement windows, bay windows don’t just create the illusion of more space but actually create more space due to the way they bow outward and feature a ledge that can be used in a number of ways.
At Sunshine Contracting, we take pride in what we do and we are constantly striving to improve. Sunshine Contracting has over 24 years of window replacement experience and we use the same crew for every installation, unlike other companies that subcontract their installations and you never know who you will get to install your windows – this creates inconsistency in installation and causes servicing issues down the road.

From the outside, bay windows can create a difference in appearance as well, depending on the style of the home. The amount of light that can enter a room through a bay window is one of its most attractive features. The curved design creates more surface area, which required more glass, which in turn reflects more light into a room. This is why the area in a bay window makes an attractive place to sit and while away the afternoon reading a favorite book.
Bay Windows – Bay windows are available with a 30-degree angle or a 45-degree angle. This creates a more dramatic appearance to your home and adds dimension to any room. Bay windows have either Double Hung or Casement windows on each side of a Picture Window.
