ClimaTech TG2 Insulated Glass Package – this is a triple-glazed insulated glass package with multi-layer, low-E (emissivity) glass, and argon gas, which increases insulating capabilities. Argon gas is denser than air and helps minimize the convection currents within the space and reduces conduction and transfer of heat. Argon gas is colorless, odorless and safe and helps improve the thermal performance of the window. Argon gas insulates approximately 150% better than a unit filled with regular air. The TG2 Climatech Insulated Glass Package contains two panes of multi-layer, low-E glass that outperforms the standard clear unit by as much as 315%.
