Dentil Molding
A classically styled home will often have dentil molding adorning its trim, just below the cornice and running along the roof line of a home (although the architectural accent can often be found on other parts of a home as well. Dentil molding is alternately spelled “dental” molding and with good reason – the molding is a series of rectangular or square blocks that are closely spaced and can resemble rows of teeth. It’s a feature that is commonly seen on classic American homes and one that Alside has become an expert in providing for homeowners who want to either add to or refurbish on their homes to bring it back to its original glory.
