Gutter Replacement Options
Sunshine Contracting is one of a small handful of Fairfax County gutter replacement specialists to offer seamless drainage systems. As opposed to standard gutters, which are pieced together from smaller components, seamless gutters are made on-site by our installers to the exact specifications of your home. As a result, there are no seams or breaks in the system and no leaks.
At Sunshine Contracting, we typically design and install gutters in one of two shapes:
- K-style — K-style is the most popular shape of gutters, appearing on approximately 95% of homes in Fairfax County. Gutter replacement with K-style units is generally the most affordable option, as well as the least obtrusive from a design standpoint. Sunshine Contracting sells K-style gutters in two sizes. Depending on the size, slope and length of your roof, we’ll help you determine the best option for your home.
- Half round — Half round gutters are rarely seen outside of certain restoration projects, though in recent years, they have been making a comeback with homeowners who appreciate their unique visual appeal. Half round gutters also have the advantage of being installable in buildings without a solid fascia, or in other applications where the use of hangars or spikes isn’t practical.
