DECKS & PORCHES PROCESSES AND INSTALLATION CREW
Our Process
When you call our office for a free in-home consultation, we will set up a time for one of our Sunshine Contracting consultants to come to your home and meet with you. At this meeting, we will speak with you and work together to evaluate your decking situation. Whether you currently have a deck and it needs to be hauled away or you want a deck where there currently is no deck, Sunshine Contracting can help! We will work together to create a deck design that you and your family will enjoy for years to come!
If you decide to move forward with Sunshine Contracting for your deck, our Operations Manager, Scott Sterling, will work with you to schedule the job and help inform you of the deck building process. One action that needs to be done with all fence building is calling Miss Utility. Miss Utility is a free service that notifies all the companies that hold utilities in your area. They will alert these companies to come out and mark the areas where underground utilities may be located. This helps in protecting your home and your utilities from damage. Once the utility lines have been marked, Sunshine Contracting is then allowed to build your deck. Depending on the size of the project, decks will typically take a week to two weeks to build – pending any inclement weather and county inspection results. You deck will be inspected by the appropriate county and will go through a final inspection. Our crew is openly available to you throughout the process and will be happy to help answer any questions you may have. At the end of the work, all trash and debris will be hauled away and you will be left with a beautiful new deck!
