For the windows, they finished in a day, and they left the house spotless. Their customer service is outstanding, and communication is suburb. They assign a project manager to each job, who provides a cell number for any questions. The initial consultant who priced my job checked in through out the process to make sure there were no questions or problems, too. I found their prices to be dead in the middle of my estimates, but they truly provide white glove service. Their crews were professional and very careful of my home.

They have completed the siding as well. Again, they provided a project manager to go over all the details and to keep in touch during the project. Their workmanship is fantastic and great service. Super crew, very respectful of my yard and plants. Many other homeowners in our neighborhood have also used them. Price was reasonable, right in the middle of the pack, but service is A+. No extra charges, no last minute changes. No pressure, and best of all, no problems.”

“From the free estimate through installation, the service was great. We ordered 17 custom windows and were under no impression it would be done overnight. The process to a few weeks and once the installers showed up, it was a full day of steady work. The install team was professional and courteous and worked with me when they discovered old termite damage and replaced the framing. We had a new window cut-in in the family room which changed the entire feel to the room. A new picture window flanked by casement windows give our breakfast nook a new feel as well. “I am happy to give Sunshine Contracting a five-star rating. They replaced the cedar siding on our townhome in Reston with HardiePlank (we also got new trim, of course, and gutters). Ryan and Nate were knowledgeable and helpful in working out the contract, and after we signed, Nate continued to be responsive to any request we made. We feel the price we agreed upon was fair for the amount and quality of work done, and two other owners in our four-home building have already engaged Sunshine for siding work. Everyone at Sunshine was quite accommodating throughout the entire project (for example, arranging the delivery of materials so we could continue to use our garage); they also showed considerable sensitivity to the potential issues of working in a townhome community. A couple of unexpected surprises were handled well, and the construction crew was polite, pleasant, professional, and hard-working (even in some very cold weather). All of our questions and concerns were responded to quickly, and the quality of the workmanship (even some “above and beyond” the contract) was outstanding. All in all, especially given the bad reputation so many contractors have, my wife and I have no reservations at all about recommending Sunshine Contracting.”

“I would absolutely recommend Sunshine Contracting for deck installation. I initially met with Ryan to discuss my options for replacing and expanding my deck. He was very knowledgeable and did not pressure me into any decision. I felt very comfortable with the plans and did not feel the need to have another estimate. A.J. worked with me to quickly schedule the renovation during a time frame that worked for me and also followed up with me after completion of the work. The workers arrived as scheduled and immediately started preparing the work area for demolition. They were careful in moving the personal property to an area outside the work zone. The team lead then reviewed the plans with me to be sure they were what Ryan and I discussed. The team worked efficiently throughout the renovation. They kept me apprised of the status (ie waiting for inspectors) and would consult with me to make final decisions, such as light placement, rail pattern etc throughout the renovation. The workmanship was top notch with nice finishing touches to the deck. After completion of the deck, the crew returned everything to its original location, removed all the old lumber and left the yard in the same condition it was prior to starting the project.
