Anderson Storm Doors
Available in the 4000, 3000, and 2000 series’, Anderson storm doors have set themselves apart from the competition by providing a number of features that are easy to use and necessary for proper function.
Sunshine Contracting provides the following lines of Anderson Storm Doors (click below to read more about each series):
Unlike many storm doors, Anderson storm doors come preassembled. This allows for extremely fast and easy installation. In most cases, Anderson storm doors can be fully installed with basic tools in as little as forty-five minutes. To go along with the quick and easy theme, Anderson also offers the “Quick Change Glass/Insect Screen System.” In just seconds, anyone can switch between a full glass and full screen door. Even better, the screens that are used feature TruScene technology. These screens offer fifty percent more clarity than conventional insect screens.
The three-point locking system, which is available on some Anderson storm door models, provides added security without the hassle of extra locking devices. Instead of using multiple locks, the main locking mechanism is simply built in to the top, middle, and bottom portions of the door frame. This helps to ensure that the door cannot be pried open and remains tight at all levels.
Another simple and functional feature of an Anderson storm door is the simple push button door stay. A single button on the retractable door closer can be pressed which will allow the door to stay open without hassle.
Anderson storm doors also feature keyed locks which can be easily rekeyed to fit any typical entry door locks and eliminating the need to carry an extra key.
